Stop Motion Animation

Hey Bloggers, how's your day been?

 At school we have been making stop-motion animations, we used an app called 'Stop Motion Animator' and took photos to create frames (pictures), and then played all the frames (pictures) together. I made an animation with a pencil drawing, here it is!

I really enjoyed this activity because I'm a fan of all sorts of animation and I enjoy making animations myself. Maybe next time I might put some audio in the video to make the video better. Descriptive Language About A Place, Can You Guess The Place?

T his week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion. 1. Lots of people clicking away. 2. People trying new functions spamming buttons. 3. A rapid clicking sound can be heard when in this place. 4. People discovering new things . 5. People asking for more time with their special thing. 6. Tsunami Proof Village With Tinkercad!

Hey Bloggers, Hope you are having a magical day! Our WALT was to combine prior knowledge with what we've learnt, in this, case using my knowledge about floods and house and then adding with what the text has said. In my reading group, we read about tsunamis hitting Samoa, and we talked about what makes a Tsunami-Proof home. I used Tinkercad  to make a village that could withstand a Tsunami, here it is! (Also check out the text 'Building For The Future' below) Here is a big vault on stands to withstand a Tsunami. Metal sheets are screwed onto the the base plate. If high amounts of water come, the stand will help the vault. Inside the vault, there is lots of citizens' houses, and a food market and water tap because they are need to survive.
