Art Show - Manukau's Art!

Hello Bloggers, Hows your day been?


At school we are going to have an art show where all classes will create their own special pieces of art and present their art, all the classes have been working really hard on their art. In my class (Manukau) we are using Papier-mâché to create fish sculptures, there is a lot to explain so look below for a google slide with how we made the pastel background and the fish itself!





I personally I really enjoyed this activity because I don't really enjoy art but I found doing this craft really fun. Maybe next time I'll be a bit more gentle with my pastel and paint, I think that would make by art even better.  I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post, I really appreciate you stopping by.       Hey there Blake, thank you so much for the comment, I really appreciate it.
      I made the slideshow interactive by linking previous and next buttons to other slides, that is pretty much it. I'll be sure to check out your blog in the future.

    Bonjour Anuk, I like how you added each step in making a papier mache fish. This reminds me of when I did papier mache about 2 years ago. We made planets and different groups worked on different planets. Maybe next time you could add more pictures on different people's work.

Descriptive Language About A Place, Can You Guess The Place?

T his week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion. 1. Lots of people clicking away. 2. People trying new functions spamming buttons. 3. A rapid clicking sound can be heard when in this place. 4. People discovering new things . 5. People asking for more time with their special thing. 6. Writing Tumble

Hi bloggers, Hope you guys are having a great day. Anyway, This term we have been doing lots of independent work in class. We now have our own writing, numeracy and reading tumble. We have all sorts of tasks to do, from vocabulary activities, to rounding and compensating. In my writing tumble I have wrote about a temple in Cambodia, Angkor Wat, have a look! I have just entered the sacred temple. Woah, look at this place! What should I do first? How about that door on my right? Yeah, let's do it! Look at the Buddha statue! It's Gigantic! It looks awesome from here. Angkor Wat is really quite the visit! The crow of the birds is very loud, and the trees are towering! The trees looks hundreds of years old, imagine the history this temple contains as well! It is steaming hot in Cambodia, this was the wrong the wrong day to wear a sweater. I wonder what else is done in Angkor Wat Temple, well it is a Buddhist temple, maybe religion is practised here. Dust is scattered all over
